Affiliate management that runs on your Stripe payments, with self-serve payouts and a clear trail behind every commission.
Partner programs run on trust. A partner sends you a customer and expects to be paid fairly for it; you expect to pay only for revenue that actually came in. When either side can't see why a number is what it is, the relationship gets harder.
Vangelist is affiliate management software built around that problem. It works from the payments you already take in Stripe, so commissions follow real revenue instead of a separate tracking system that drifts out of sync.
Every commission has a trail
Each commission in Vangelist points back to three things: the payment it was earned on, the customer who made it, and the rule that priced it. Open any commission and you can see which campaign version applied, which month of the reward it fell in, and whether a refund or hold changed it.
Statements are frozen once they're paid. If a campaign changes later, past statements keep the terms they were paid under.
Attribution you can resolve
Most payments attribute themselves: a referral code in the customer's or subscription's metadata, or a partner link they arrived through. For the rest, Vangelist shows your Stripe records with a suggested partner where one can be inferred, and you confirm or clear it in one click.
You can search by email, name, plan or metadata (referral_code=sarah, or referral_code= to find every record that has the key), then select many records and assign them together. When you attribute a customer after the fact, Vangelist asks whether their earlier payments were already paid out, so nobody is paid twice.
Self-serve payouts
Partners get their own portal with their links, referred customers and earnings. They manage how they get paid themselves, and you approve payouts from a review queue that shows what's due, what's in hold and why.
Built on your Stripe account
Vangelist doesn't copy your billing data. It stores the mapping between partners and Stripe records, plus the commissions owed, and checks Stripe for new payments every hour. Connecting takes a restricted API key with read access.
